Kyra brings extensive experience from her work in intensive outpatient rehabilitation treating anxiety, depression, and disordered eating, giving her a nuanced understanding of the complexities of mental health. Her clinical work with U.S. military veterans has further strengthened her trauma-informed approach, and she integrates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into her practice to help clients safely process distressing memories,
reduce emotional reactivity, and foster lasting healing. Her therapeutic style emphasizes empathy, trust, and a healthy dose of humor, allowing clients to feel supported as they move through challenging material.

Grounded in an integrative and compassionate philosophy, Kyra believes that an authentic, nurturing therapeutic relationship is a the basis for growth. She is committed to creating a judgment-free environment where clients can explore their past, present, and future with openness and curiosity. In addition to EMDR, she draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), somatic approaches, and mindfulness practices to
tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs and goals.
Kyra holds a dual master’s degree in public health and social work from New York University.

Her public health training informs her holistic perspective, helping clients understand the connection between emotional well-being, physical health, and the mind-body relationship. She specializes in working with depression, anxiety, disordered eating, PTSD, couples, and
LGBTQIA+ clients. Through her diverse clinical background and personalized approach, Kyra supports clients in creating meaningful, sustainable change.
